If we have a Walton County defendant in custody in another jurisdiction, all we need is an approved agent to go to the bonding window and provide their location. The jail will confirm this with the relevant county. Once confirmed, Walton County will place a hold on the defendant and have us sign the BOB (Bond On Board) form. The defendant will then be transferred back to Walton.
While it’s not strictly necessary to have a copy of the original signed bond, I prefer to keep it on hand just in case.
